Personally, I use MailChimp. Their software just seems better overall. If you ever have a problem, their customer service is superb.

It is sometimes a matter of give and take. If you write something and want people to follow, it is sometimes the thing where people feel it is why they choose one before another.
At least you can read and if you find that you want to reply you are rewarded.

I am a webmaster as well, having a subdomain on another website is merely a hobby but nothing worth pursuing. Domains are relatively cheap, why not get your own? There are many hosting companies out there that offers hosting for under 10 dollars a month as you indicated in your link. I think most people who get a subdomain on another domain does not know they can get their own domain or get a good script to install on their own domain.

This is a good article, hopefully spread some light on new comers.

I turned my blog DoFollow a long time ago. Its not much work to delete the spamcomments (i never even had any) and it engourages the people to visit your site regulary or check for new posts.

Yes i agree you should start your own Blog, but if you want everything pre fixed than take the Wordpress blogs because you have a lot mor e options in developing your owns page and make it look really good.
